Wojciech Panufnik is Polish musician and producer composing electronic
music under nickname X-Ceed. Born in 1976, lives and works in Warsaw, Poland.
His music advanture started in early 90s when he discovered
computer demoscene. Since 1991 he has been working
with many demo scene groups (Deform, Union, Energy, Scope, Dinx Project, Appendix,
Endzeit, Floppy) and composed over hundred of tracks. Many of them were used
in demoscene productions
such as demos ("Hallucinations and Dreams"
by Union, "Weekend Dance" by Deform, "Psychodelic Demo"
by Union, "Zoombi" by PIL/Union, "Underwater" by Technomancer,
"YACTD! / Union", "Disgust" and "Gustation" by
Camorra (PC),
"Napalm" and "Nadia" by Floppy). Some of his modules ("Energy",
"Lifetime",
"Temptation", "7th Seal - 7th Sign", "Slashing",
"Passion", "Galaxy") were presented, with very good results,
in music competitions organized on demo-scene meetings (so called copy parties).
As a teenager excited by creating demo scene music, he also started to make
first small commercial projects, composing music for computer games ("Lazarus",
"Teenagent", "Tales from Heaven").
Meanwhile, in 1998 he started to co-operate with Polish music magazine "Instrumenty
Klawiszowe". As one of the editors and MIDI instruments specialist, he
was writing articles and reviews of musical equipment (synthesizeres, sound
modules) and tutorials on programming Roland synthesizers using system exclusive.
From 2001, after 10 years spent on demoscene, Wojciech Panufnik started to focus
more on electronic music than demoscene. He started to explore progressive dance
and club styles like goa trance, acid house, techno and drum'n'bass. Some of
his tracks were published on polish compilations. No doubt that those explorations
of different electronic music styles had a very big influence on the music he
creates today. Though he is not focused on particular genre the music he creates
today is a mixture of ambient, IDM,
drill/drum 'n bass and clicks & cuts.
On the beginning of 2006, Wojciech Panufnik was invited to join ITOA, a group
of polish electronic music producers (Giq, Revisque and Haloon) who also come
from demo scene. From this time some of his productions made after 2006 are
signed as ITOA.
Wojciech Panufnik is also still working as a composer creating soundtracks for
commercial purposes. Under his own project Soundimage (www.soundimage.pl), he
created soundtracks for interactive tv-games, TV commercials and corporate presentations,
of companies like Adidas, Carlsberg, Siemens, Xerox, Proszynski i Ska, Telemedia,
Idea, TPSA. Lately, he also returned to creating music for computer and mobile
games.

Here you find lots of Amiga modules created by X-Ceed for demo productions,
disk magazines, intros and for fun. Though they have no truck with todays electronic
music of Wojciech Panufnik, they were put here especially for demoscene music
maniacs and becase of X-Ceed's great sentiment for the time spent on demoscene.
This set of modules is not complete but it will be updated in future.
Coming soon: several modules which have never been released...
